Refund policy

1. EU Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you receive the goods. To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us at eve@sokbattery.com.

You must clearly inform us of your decision to withdraw before the withdrawal period expires. After submitting a valid withdrawal request, you must return the product to SOK Battery Europe.

The returned product must be:

• Unused and in original condition;
• Returned with all original accessories, manuals, and packaging where possible;
• Not installed, connected, modified, or used in any electrical system.

Discounted or promotional products are also eligible for the EU statutory right of withdrawal, unless an applicable legal exception applies.

2. Refunds Under the EU Right of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from your purchase under the EU statutory right of withdrawal:

• We will refund all payments received from you, including the original standard delivery cost.
• Refunds will be processed within 7 business days after we receive the returned product or valid proof of return, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
• Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the product unless otherwise required by applicable law.

For battery products, due to their size, weight, and transportation requirements, return shipping costs may vary depending on the destination and shipping method.

3. Condition of Returned Products

Customers may inspect the product to determine its nature, characteristics, and functionality, similar to what would be allowed in a physical store.

To be eligible for a refund under the EU statutory right of withdrawal, returned products must:

• Be unused and in original condition;
• Include all original accessories, manuals, and packaging where possible;
• Not be installed, connected, modified, or used in any electrical system.

Products that have been installed, connected, charged, discharged, modified, or used may not be eligible for a full refund.

If the value of the product has been reduced due to handling beyond what is necessary for inspection, SOK Battery Europe may deduct the corresponding loss in value from the refund where permitted by applicable law.

Examples of handling that may reduce the product value include:

• Installing the battery into an RV, marine, solar, or other electrical system;
• Connecting cables or terminals for operation;
• Charging or discharging the battery;
• Removing protective components or modifying the product.

Products returned without prior authorization from SOK Battery Europe may not be accepted.

4. Return Shipping

For returns under the EU statutory right of withdrawal, customers are responsible for the return shipping costs unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that returned products are properly packaged and safely transported.

Due to the size and weight of battery products, customers are advised to use appropriate transportation methods and packaging to avoid damage during return shipping.
