How many kWh of home battery storage do I need?
Begin with the loads you want to support and how long you want them powered. Essential-load backup can require much less storage than whole-home operation, especially when high-power appliances are included.
Can this be used for home backup?
The battery can form part of a properly engineered backup or off-grid system. The inverter, transfer equipment, protection, installation and local electrical requirements must be suitable for the intended use.
Which inverters are compatible?
Compatibility is model-specific. Check the exact inverter protocol against the battery communication interface before purchase; selected SOK models support CAN and RS485 communication.
Can I add more battery modules later?
Potentially, within the model-specific parallel and system limits. Expansion should be planned with battery age, state of charge, cabling, protection and inverter capacity in mind.
